Introduction: This study investigates the perception of nursing professionals regarding obstetric violence, considering the importance of this issue in the field of maternal health and care during childbirth. Justification: Obstetric violence is a growing concern that affects both pregnant women and healthcare professionals involved in the process of childbirth. Objective: To analyze how nursing professionals perceive and experience obstetric violence and what challenges and suggestions they have to mitigate this problem. Methods: We conducted a comprehensive literature review and interviewed nursing professionals. Results: The perception of nursing professionals is crucial for understanding obstetric violence and seeking solutions to reduce it. Discussions: Nursing plays a vital role in identifying and preventing obstetric violence, promoting a more respectful and safe childbirth. Conclusions: Awareness and the actions of nursing professionals are essential to combat obstetric violence and ensure humane childbirth.
