THERAPEUTIC PROPOSALS OFFERED IN THE TREATMENT OF ASD IN BRAZIL

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurobiological condition that affects a person's development and social interaction. In Brazil, there are numerous therapeutic proposals for the treatment of ASD, which aim to improve the quality of life of individuals and promote their inclusion in society. The present bibliographical research aimed to explore and highlight the therapeutic proposals offered for ASD in the Brazilian context, the interventions used to expand social skills in public and private services. This is an exploratory and descriptive bibliographic research, which involved the collection, selection and analysis of bibliographic sources through searches on the virtual platforms Lilacs, Google Scholar and Scielo, in which the key words, “Terapia And Autismo,” were used. Therapeutic Proposals And Autism” and “Treatments And Tea”. In view of the survey carried out, we can conclude that people face difficulties in accessing lines of care offered in public and private services, that there are a variety of approaches and practices, but interventions that have greater scientific evidence and effectiveness in public care networks and private institutions prioritize multidisciplinary care, thus expanding the possibilities of stimulation for the patient's best development.
