Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study focuses on the planning of teaching activities in an educational institution for knowledge construction, stemming from the following problem statement: In what way can school planning be considered a crucial and determining element to enhance knowledge development in various educational settings, and how does this relevance manifest in pedagogical practice, directly impacting the students' learning process? The objective was to analyze and emphasize the importance of school planning as a determining factor for knowledge development in educational contexts. The specific objectives aimed to investigate the theoretical foundations that underpin the importance of school planning in the educational context, assess the influence of school planning on the knowledge construction process in educational environments, and identify effective school planning practices that promote students' cognitive development. This study is classified as bibliographic; thus, throughout the work, ideas from various authors addressing the theme were analyzed and compared, including Vasconcellos (2000), Ferreira (2009), Lück (2009), Libâneo (2013), among others. The choice of this research is based on the urgent need to understand and highlight the role of school planning as a determining factor for knowledge development in the educational context. The relevance of this investigation lies in the constant pursuit of improving pedagogical practices and, consequently, optimizing the quality of the teaching-learning process. The results obtained reveal the importance of conceiving school planning effectively to play a central role in promoting more structured and dynamic educational environments. A deep understanding of this theme becomes essential for educators, managers, and other stakeholders in the educational scenario since planning not only outlines goals but also directly influences the effectiveness of educational strategies.
