In the context of the intersection between cervical cancer and HIV infection in women, understanding clinical manifestations and treatment strategies assumes crucial relevance. The coexistence of these conditions presents specific challenges, as HIV infection can significantly influence the progression and clinical characteristics of cervical cancer. In this scenario, a systematic literature review becomes essential to consolidate existing knowledge and provide valuable insights to guide clinical practices and health policies. Objective: Comprehensively examine the clinical manifestations of cervical cancer in HIV-infected women. Methodology: followed PRISMA guidelines and involved a systematic search for articles in the last 10 years in the PubMed, Scielo and Web of Science databases. The five descriptors used were "cervical cancer", "HIV", "clinical manifestations", "treatment" and "women". The inclusion criteria included studies that directly explored the relationship between cervical cancer and HIV infection, while the exclusion criteria filtered out non-representative samples or questionable methodologies. The inclusion criteria adopted in this systematic review encompassed studies that directly investigated the correlation between HIV infection and the clinical manifestations of cervical cancer, as well as research that explored specific therapeutic strategies for co-infected women and studies that examined differences in responses treatment in patients with cervical cancer and HIV. On the other hand, the exclusion criteria were applied to filter research with inadequate or non-representative samples of the population under study, studies with methodologies that were not very rigorous or questionable from a scientific point of view, and publications that did not directly address the interaction between cervical cancer and infection by HIV. These criteria aimed to ensure the robustness and relevance of the studies included in the review, providing a careful and reliable analysis of the relationships between cervical cancer and HIV infection in women. Results: analysis of the selected articles revealed distinct patterns in the clinical manifestations of cervical cancer in women with HIV. Topics such as the influence of HIV viral load on cancer progression and the effectiveness of concomitant antiretroviral therapies were highlighted. Conclusion: this systematic review synthesizes the available knowledge on the clinical manifestations and treatment of cervical cancer in women with HIV . The results emphasize the need for personalized treatment approaches and highlight the importance of considering the interaction between these conditions to improve the quality of healthcare targeted to this specific population.
