NURSING CARE DURING COVID 19: NURSING IN THE PANDEMIC

Health professionals from various areas have acted in a multidisciplinary way to combat the crisis caused by the new coronavirus with sanitary measures. The professionals who are most at the forefront of these actions are nurses. Objective: To identify the importance of nurses in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic, identify the difficulties that nursing faced during the pandemic and report the rates of cases and deaths due to covid 19 among nursing professionals. Materials and Methods: This is a literature review research where searches were carried out in databases, bibliographical verification was also carried out in scientific literature, based on the selection of works published in magazines and scientific articles in the period 2020 Result: By detecting several theoretical references, it can be assessed that when talking about nursing in the face of COVID 19, it encompasses understanding and listening to the needs of any person, as well as respect, cordiality and compassion for others. As nursing integrates the construction of relationships between the services provided, this concept is increasingly appearing in organizations. Conclusion: It is believed that the main objective of nursing in the face of COVID19 is the importance in which nursing professionals express themselves to understand how they perceive their policies in this process, and in this scenario it is clear that the role of the nursing team to incorporate a great emphasis on both care and contingent contributions.
