Sepsis and cholecystitis are two different medical conditions, which may be related in some cases. Cholecystitis is an acute inflammation of the gallbladder, which is caused by obstruction of the bile ducts, thus causing the emergence of a stone or even an infection, which can be generalized or sepsis. Sepsis consists of a generalized infection, thus a potentially fatal condition, caused by the immune system's response to an infection. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to carry out a study on Cholecystitis as well as Sepsis in the search for a better understanding of these diseases, verifying in this sense the five stages of the SAE (Nursing Care Systematization) taking into account the diagnoses and care that must be adopted within the field of nursing. The problem question of this study is: How can nursing professionals act in the face of Sepsis and Cholecystitis in order to carry out diagnosis and nursing care? This study is based on both bibliographic research and a case study, as bibliographic material was sought to support the clinical study carried out. Thus, the research method consists of a qualitative approach, using as a methodology the clinical study with both logical and descriptive foundations, where patient data was collected through careful interviews as well as a bibliographic search on research platforms such as: Scielo, Google Scholar and Ministry of Health. Therefore, greater scientific knowledge can be acquired about these two pathologies, which have a high rate of occurrence as well as a high mortality rate.
