Abstract

Multiple causes can influence the episode of hyperpigmentation, among the various factors is percutaneous collagen induction. The purpose of this article was to evaluate melanic behavior when microneedling is used as an aesthetic or therapeutic treatment in order to analyze its positive and negative influences, as it is extremely important to understand how tissue repair directly influences the final response to treatment. , being carried out in a controlled and contextualized way with the response you want to obtain, taking into account the use of active ingredients to enhance the technique. To this end, an integrative review of the literature was carried out, including published scientific articles, in the following electronic databases: PubMed, Scientific Electronic Library (Scielo) and Medline. From this, five articles were collected that provided a comparative analysis individually, from the study of elements in order to contribute to the purpose of synthesizing the definition of theoretical concepts of this article, it was possible to evaluate and consider as an influential and non-influential result in hyperpigmentation, and its effectiveness when using treatment with individual microneedling or associated with enhancers. Noting that there are influences depending on the use of the technique and there are greater responses when used in an associative way.
