Racial insults against black women persist in the labor market, and the abolition of slavery in Brazil brought formal freedom to enslaved women, but did not guarantee their full equality and social integration, never prioritizing better living conditions for them, resulting in challenges nowadays in the search for work, education and justice, as black women are overlooked, poorly paid and face discrimination, however the fight against discrimination in the workplace requires knowledge of rights, access to justice and the fair application of law, and the government and companies have a fundamental role in promoting affirmative policies, given that raising awareness and eradicating individual prejudices is crucial. The methodology used was bibliographic review through publications of scientific articles, works that address the topic and current Brazilian legislation. It is emphasized that the Courts have taken stricter decisions to combat racial discrimination at work, making companies responsible for the acts of their representatives and employees and the labor judiciary playing an important role in equity in labor relations and preventing racial discrimination .
