Of the main concerns in space travel has always been about spacecraft fuel consumption, with humanity rapidly approaching an era where travel to our neighboring planet, Mars, will be common for the purposes of exploration and colonization, however, these spacecraft will have to cross a great distance between Earth and Mars, with some using much or all of their fuel to reach the red planet, with these spacecraft, depending on the objective of the mission, running out of fuel for the return to Earth, having to depend on other missions for refueling, and it was with this logistics problem in mind that I developed S.R.A.M, a combination of currently existing technologies that would allow spacecraft to convert atmospheric gas from Mars into fuel, thus allowing spacecraft for future Mars explorations not to be left behind. limited to resupply missions, with these spacecraft being able to independently return to Earth after being fully refueled by converting atmospheric air from Mars into fuel.
