The present study addresses the interconnection between the use of contraceptives and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) events in adolescents, a critical issue in the field of sexual and reproductive health. While contraceptive use plays a key role in preventing unplanned pregnancy, there is a need to analyze the potential risk of DVT associated with these contraceptives. With a particular focus on adolescents, this study investigates the possible correlation between contraceptive use and the risk of DVT, considering biological, behavioral and socioeconomic factors unique to this age group. By understanding these complex interactions, we seek to provide insights for informed medical guidance and public health policies aimed at the protection and well-being of adolescents, while promoting safe contraceptive choices.
