Public policies are a way for the state to minimize existing failures in its government so that the poorest people can have opportunities which they would not have alone, and the implementation of educational public policies is also within the scope of state responsibility as a way to benefit and encourage young people and adults in the educational environment. Thus, it is known that education plays a fundamental role in the development of a society. Through it, it is possible to provide equal opportunities, stimulate economic growth and build a solid base for the formation of conscious and engaged citizens. Educational public policies are sets of guidelines, plans, programs and actions implemented by governments to promote the improvement of education in a given society or country. These policies are developed with the objective of guaranteeing universal access to quality education, promoting educational equity, improving educational outcomes and responding to the specific needs of the population. Educational public policies cover a wide range of areas and may include measures related to the school curriculum, teacher training, education financing, school infrastructure, educational technology, evaluation and monitoring of the educational system, inclusion of students with special needs, among other aspects. State responsibility in the area of education implies guaranteeing educational access, quality and equity, through planned actions, adequate investments, society's participation and commitment to the constitutional and legal principles that govern education.
