This article aimed to analyze dentists’ knowledge, practices, and attitudes in providing dental care to pregnant women in Primary Health Care. This is an integrative literature review of studies published between 2015 and 2025, using the LILACS, BBO, MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, and Cochrane databases. Five studies were included and analyzed by title, author/year, objective, study type, level of evidence, and main findings. Two central themes emerged: clinical and pharmacological guidelines in dental care for pregnant women, and challenges and barriers in professionals’ perceptions. Prenatal dental care is essential for maternal and child health; however, gaps remain in clinical safety and professional attitudes. These issues are linked to limited training and lack of standardized protocols, highlighting the need for continuing education and improved guidelines.
