Abstract

This article analyzes the Movimente-se pela Vida Project, developed at the Federal Institute of Sertão Pernambucano (IFSertãoPE), as a possible non-formal educational space connected to comprehensive human formation in Professional and Technological Education (PTE). The study aims to discuss how bodily practices developed through the project may go beyond a restricted perspective of health promotion and quality of working life, assuming formative possibilities. This is a qualitative bibliographic and documentary study based on academic publications and normative documents related to non-formal education, PTE, comprehensive human formation, and quality of working life. The analysis indicates that the project presents elements such as participation, interaction, autonomy, and bodily practices, which may contribute to educational processes beyond formal school spaces. However, its formative dimension depends on the presence of educational intentionality and practices that enable reflection, participation, and collective construction. It is concluded that the project has the potential to constitute a non-formal educational space by articulating bodily practices, work, and comprehensive human formation.
