This paper analyzes the profile of the student who is studying higher education online. It is a quantitative data analysis whose main source is the Higher Education Census, provided by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). We found that the profile of the online student differs in age, race and chosen course.
