Fibromyalgia is a chronic multifactorial condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, cognitive changes, and impaired quality of life. Due to its physical and psychosocial manifestations, its management requires a multidisciplinary and individualized approach, combining pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies. In this context, Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (ICHP) stand out as complementary resources in care, potentially contributing to symptom relief and the promotion of well-being. This study aimed to investigate the contribution of nurses to the care of patients with fibromyalgia, focusing on the use of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (ICHP) to promote humanized care. This is an integrative literature review conducted in the LILACS, BDENF, and MEDLINE databases, including studies published between 2020 and 2025. After applying the eligibility criteria, five studies comprised the final sample. The results showed that nursing contributes to care through health education, strengthening self-care, psychosocial support, person-centered care, and the use of ICHP, particularly therapeutic touch, favoring reductions in pain, anxiety, and stress, as well as improvements in quality of life. It is concluded that ICHP represent important complementary strategies for humanizing nursing care, although studies with more robust designs are needed to strengthen the evidence regarding their effectiveness.
