Fibromyalgia is a chronic disease of unknown origin, predominantly affecting women, characterized by widespread pain, hypersensitivity to touch, a feeling of swelling, fatigue, and mood changes. This study aimed to analyze data from patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia treated in Juazeiro, Bahia, and to establish a correlation with data from the capital, Salvador, between 2020 and 2025. Records available on the Datasus platform were collected through the SUS Outpatient Information System (SIA/SUS), using the TabWin program for data tabulation. The work focused on outpatient care, sex, age, procedures performed, medication dispensing, and financial expenses related to treatment. The analysis showed that Juazeiro presented little predominance in investment in the diversity of care and records restricted only to the adult population. The capital, on the other hand, showed a greater volume of multidisciplinary care for fibromyalgia and stood out for having a wider age range and greater financial investment. Furthermore, it was found that there is a lack of specific data on the dispensing of medications by the SUS (Brazilian Public Health System) intended for the treatment of fibromyalgia. It is concluded that there is a significant inequality between Juazeiro and Salvador in the care provided to fibromyalgia, with the capital city being a reference point for multidisciplinary care. In addition, the limited data and inconsistencies suggest indifference towards fibromyalgia cases, reinforcing the need for policies that expand comprehensive care for this population.
