Pancreatic cancer represents a major public health problem due to its high mortality rate and frequently late diagnosis. This study aimed to analyze the frequency of pancreatic cancer cases in Brazil's Northern Region from 2016 to 2025. This is a quantitative, cross-sectional, retrospective, exploratory, and descriptive study based on secondary data obtained from the DATASUS platform. A total of 1,242 cases were recorded in the region during the study period, with a higher frequency among males and individuals aged 60–64 years. Among the states in the Northern Region, Pará had the highest number of records, totaling 459 cases. Regarding disease staging, stage IV was the most frequent, accounting for 38.89% of cases. These results demonstrate the relevance of pancreatic cancer in the regional context, particularly given the frequency of diagnoses at advanced stages. It is concluded that the findings reinforce the importance of expanding access to specialized healthcare services and strengthening diagnostic investigation strategies to promote early disease detection and contribute to improving healthcare for the population.
