This article aimed to analyze the epidemiological profile of patients with endometriosis treated at the gynecology outpatient clinic of the Universidade Santo Amaro Polyclinic. This was an observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, and retrospective epidemiological study based on the review of electronic medical records from patients treated at the Gynecology Outpatient Clinic of the Hospital de Especialidades of Universidade Santo Amaro, located in Jardim das Imbuias, São Paulo, Brazil. Only patients with a confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis were included. The variables analyzed were age, diagnostic examination, symptoms, comorbidities, dyspareunia, age at first sexual intercourse, age at menarche, parity, and hormone use. Statistical analyses included the chi-square test and Cochran’s G test. A total of 96 medical records were analyzed, with a predominance of patients aged 41–75 years. Dysmenorrhea was the most frequent symptom, whereas comorbidities, particularly systemic arterial hypertension, were more prevalent among older patients. No statistically significant associations were observed between age group and dyspareunia, mode of delivery, or hormone use. The findings highlight the clinical heterogeneity of endometriosis and reinforce the importance of early diagnosis, appropriate recognition of symptoms, and a multidisciplinary approach to improve patients’ quality of life.
