Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, represents a process of technological transformation characterized by the integration of physical and digital systems, connectivity, automation, the Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and cyber-physical systems. These technologies are reshaping production processes, organizational management, and the professional skills required within the industrial environment. Given this context, this research aims to analyze the impacts of Industry 4.0 on industrial organizations and the employees working within this technological landscape, specifically examining shifts in production processes, management, and professional competencies. To this end, a qualitative, descriptive study was conducted using a bibliographic approach, based on an analysis of books, technical documents, and studies related to the subject. The analysis focuses primarily on the effects of integrating digital technologies on productivity, competitiveness, organizational management, and human capital. The literature reviewed suggests that the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies can contribute to process optimization, waste reduction, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced organizational adaptability. At the same time, this technological transformation presents challenges concerning infrastructure, information security, and the need for professional upskilling. Thus, Industry 4.0 entails not only the adoption of new technologies but also changes in organizational structure, management, and the competencies required for industrial work.
