PRODUCING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE FAR RIGHT: THE USE OF THE SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW TOOL TO UNDERSTAND THE TOPIC

Abstract

The global political landscape has been marked simultaneously by a convergence of political parties toward the center of political-ideological fields and by the expansion of the extremes. In this context, the growth of the so-called far right is unequivocal, lending relevance to studies on the subject. This article was developed through a systematic literature review, bringing together studies capable of providing an analysis of far-right thought, its conceptions, characteristics, and strategies.
