INSTITUTIONAL PSYCHOPEDAGOGY IN PMPA COMMUNITY POLICE TRAINING: EDUCATIONAL PROPOSALS FOR PREVENTIVE ACTION IN RIVERINE AREAS

Abstract

This study analyzes psychopedagogical aspects present in community policing training within the Military Police of Pará (PMPA), focusing on preventive action in Amazonian riverside communities. The qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive research was conducted through documentary analysis of PMPA programs, such as PROERD, PMZITO, school policing, and CSUME, along with a literature review. The results indicate that elements such as conflict mediation, interpersonal communication, socio-emotional development, and participatory methodologies are already present in police training, although not formally recognized as psychopedagogical practices. The study highlights that systematizing these practices may strengthen preventive policing in riverside contexts and proposes educational strategies such as community simulations, accessible language, storytelling, and appreciation of Amazonian knowledge.
