This article analyzes thermal management and heat dissipation mechanisms applied to LED panels, considering their influence on performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and the service life of electronic systems. In a context marked by increasing component density, luminous power, and continuous equipment operation, adequate temperature control becomes essential to prevent efficiency losses, material degradation, and premature failures. The research adopts a qualitative approach of a theoretical, exploratory, and descriptive nature, based on bibliographic research involving the analysis of books, scientific articles, and technical documents related to thermal management, heat transfer, power electronics, LED systems, and component reliability. The results indicate that efficient heat dissipation depends on the integration of heat sinks, thermal interface materials, ventilation systems, substrates, and appropriate structural solutions. In addition, operating temperature control contributes to greater stability, maintenance of luminous efficiency, and reduction of failures. It is concluded that thermal management is an essential element in the design and operation of LED panels, being decisive for the reliability, performance, and durability of these systems.
