This study investigates the potential for implementation and energy efficiency of photovoltaic pavements on the Lagoa das Bateias bike path in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, as a sustainable alternative for supplying public lighting. Using a qualitative and exploratory approach, the research involved a literature review, document analysis, and field survey, considering the structural, environmental, and energy aspects of the proposal. The results demonstrate that, using 470 Wp monocrystalline modules, generation can reach up to 7,572.8 kWh per day, far exceeding the energy demand of the 70 streetlights installed in the area, ensuring self-sufficiency even during periods of low solar radiation. The application of this technology reinforces the commitment to energy efficiency and urban sustainability, integrating active mobility, innovation, and clean energy generation. The study also highlights the importance of public policies and incentives for the adoption of solar pavements in public spaces, consolidating a model for a smarter, more resilient, and environmentally responsible city.
