Abstract

The stability of slopes at the present time has become a fundamental security agent, considering that areas of natural slopes are increasingly occupied due to uncontrolled population expansion. This article aims to discuss a brief and concise definition of slope, guiding the main forms of landslides that may occur and the types of containment structures that are used to stabilize the soil masses. Pointing out what nailed soil is, its origin, the main stages of the implantation process, its importance, and its positive points in terms of stability.
