The climacteric involves physical, emotional, and sociocultural changes that may affect quality of life and require longitudinal follow-up. This study aimed to analyze evidence on the care needs of women during the climacteric and its implications for nursing practice in Primary Health Care. An integrative literature review was conducted through searches in LILACS, the Virtual Health Library, and PubMed Central, considering publications from 2016 to 2025. Study selection followed PRISMA recommendations. Of the 130 records identified, 17 comprised the final sample. The studies revealed gaps in professional training and service organization, difficulties in accessing information, and insufficient attention to physical, emotional, and sexuality-related needs. They also highlighted the importance of individualized care, health education, and coordination among professionals. Nursing can contribute to comprehensive care through qualified consultations, sensitive listening, recognition of multidimensional needs, and continuing professional education, while considering service conditions and women’s individual circumstances.
