This study analyzed the environmental management practices adopted by the Lira Eco Parque Tourist Complex, located in Amarante, Piauí, Brazil. The family-owned enterprise originated from the artisanal production of sugarcane spirits (cachaça) and later expanded its activities to the hospitality, ecotourism, and gastronomy sectors. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach, combining direct observation during field visits with the application of structured questionnaires to those responsible for the Cachaça Distillery, Inn, Ecological Park, and Restaurant. Measures related to implementation, planning, and monitoring, as well as control practices associated with resource consumption, waste generation, and by-product management, were analyzed. The results showed that the Cachaça Distillery stands out for reusing agricultural production residues and adopting energy-saving measures. At the Inn, sustainable use of natural resources and the reuse of materials in its facilities were identified. The Ecological Park demonstrated environmental awareness, conservation, and environmental education practices. The Restaurant adopted measures to reduce food waste and prioritized the use of ingredients produced within the complex. However, weaknesses were identified regarding carbon emission control, the use of sustainable packaging, waste management, and environmental impact assessment. It is concluded that the enterprise adopts relevant environmental management practices; however, it needs to strengthen its planning, monitoring, and control mechanisms to consolidate a more sustainable operation.
