Abstract

The special edition of scientific articles from the VIII International Congress on One Health and the IV International Multidisciplinary Symposium on Health brings together innovative research and interdisciplinary experiences that reflect the challenges and advances of the integrated approach between human, animal and environmental health.

This volume highlights the importance of collaboration between different areas of knowledge to build effective strategies to face emerging diseases, zoonoses and global health crises. The selected articles address topics such as epidemiological surveillance, antimicrobial resistance, climate change and its impacts on health, as well as innovative practices in teaching and management of public policies aimed at promoting One Health.
