Abstract

The present work aims to report a clinical case of hemangiosarcoma in a mixed breed dog, 8 years old, with 6.8 kg of body weight, not neutered, attended at Clínica Veterinária SOS Animal in the city of Pimenta Bueno RO. During the patient's care, the tests necessary for the diagnosis and appropriate choice of treatment were performed. After identifying the nodule in the spleen, the patient was hospitalized with a strong clinical suspicion of neoplasia, the veterinarian referred the animal for a surgical procedure. Where the laparoscopic splenectomy surgery was performed.
