This study aimed to analyze the role of the family in the process of inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Early Childhood Education. The research sought to understand the challenges and possibilities that permeate the partnership between family and school in the integration of these students. This is a qualitative research study, conducted in a rural school of the municipal public network in the municipality of Escada, in the state of Pernambuco. As a data collection instrument, interviews were conducted with two teachers, identified as P1 and P2. The results showed that the family plays an essential role, as their collaboration will provide greater guidance in the schooling process. However, the lack of alignment in responsibilities has interfered with inclusion. It is concluded that strengthening the partnership within this school triad is essential for the development of students, requiring pedagogical and administrative strategies that promote greater interaction of families in the school environment. The study is based on Guizzo, Marcello, and Muller (2020), who highlight the need for collaborative efforts to promote learning.
